How do you put a 2024 spin on a plain ol’ tee and cutoffs? Two steps:
- Swap your white tee for a sports jersey or a sporty tee. Extra points if it’s a bright color!
- Add a shoe that’s very of-the-moment — or very of-the-2008s, if you’re a millennial like me.
I’m LIVING for the contrast between this sporty, almost jersey-like tee and the sweet ballet flats. I could’ve gone for a sneaker or a Birkenstock, but the ballet flats give the look so much energy.
This look hits all three of my style words: sporty (tee), classic (denim cutoffs), and romantic (ballet flats).
Actually, I should call these my working style words. I’m not quite ready to officially commit to them just yet. ;-)
