In the process of putting clothes on and taking clothes off this morning (AKA getting dressed), I put on this combo and thought, “This would be a good outfit for another day, but not today.” Because it’s 50°F outside.
But then I couldn’t be bothered to change into another outfit. So this is what I’m wearing on this 50°F morning.
In my defense, the coffee shop I work from each morning is always warm. So I’m actually okay. Plus, my vintage leather jacket is one of the warmest coats I own. I’m cozy on top and breezy on bottom, so it all balances out? Eh well, it’s eventually going to warm up to 70°F today anyway. So maybe I’m not so off after all.
I’m curious — what do you wear when it’s cold in the morning and warm in the afternoons?
Anyway, boxer shorts are about to be a big deal for my spring/summer wardrobe. They are so effortless and cool. I love the classic blue stripe pattern on these, PLUS THAT WAISTBAND DETAIL! You can see it peeking out in the second photo.
And here I am again with the anklets (including the sterling silver one my mom got me for Christmas)! Suddenly, wearing one anklet is not enough and I must layer at least two, if not three. Whatever sparks joy, right?
