Coffee shop girl

Most days, I’m dressing to go work at a coffee shop. I *love* this sub-genre of fashion. It’s decidedly unfancy. ;-)

In a coffee shop setting, I want to feel cozy, soft, and simple — yet not dull.

So, take this outfit.

It’s got a couple of interesting, dare I say trendy things going on — a polo neckline, striped boxer shorts, and anklets.

And while it’s a mostly monochromatic look, that contrasting note of burgundy adds some major tension.

Okay, can I make a quick verbal edit to this outfit? I would like to swap the canvas tote for a colorful bag instead. I don’t have one at the moment, but I love the idea of (brace yourself) this Bagguu pink nylon tote. I know! It would give off a whole different vibe, but I’m really into pink + burgundy right now (especially paired with navy). I think it could be good!
