Worn on: Thursday, January 25 | Weather: Partly cloudy, 40-65°F
It started with me standing in front of my closet feeling blah. So I figured I’d wear a bright, energetic color to give me a boost.
*grabs red fleece*
And once I put it on, I was like, You know what? Just give me everything in my closet that’s red. Pile it on. Keep it comin’. Red fleece, red hat, red bag.
I kinda love it!
Remember this outfit a couple weeks ago? It’s similar to this one — they both include denim, a white tee, and the red fleece. The primary components are the same. But I tried a few new styling moves this time around, so the process still felt creative and interesting to me. Notice the white tee with the *asymmetrical* tuck, the denim with the mini cuff, and of course, the red on red (on red).
Outfit repeating can be creatively fulfilling if you experiment with little tweaks each time. To me, there’s no need to completely reinvent the wheel every time you get dressed. If you put together a look you love, repeat it again soon with a few tweaks.
