Around this time in the summer, I tend to start thinking I should cut myself off from any summer purchases and switch my focus to fall clothes.
A big part of this is because I’m anxious. Not excited, anxious.
Style-wise, I feel out of my element when the temperatures drop. I often feel like I don’t know what to wear or buy. So because of that, in late-summer/pre-fall, I tend to panic buy, overspend, and purchase things I regret.
DON’T LOVE THAT.
I decided, let’s not do that this year. Let’s try something different.
Instead of pivoting to fall, I’m going to keep focusing on my strong suit, my favorite part of my wardrobe — my summer wardrobe.
Especially summer accessories. Like this gorgeous rope bag.
Because I had a cool thought the other day:
I realized that maybe I’d feel more at home dressing for fall/winter if I bring some of my favorite summer accessories into my fall outfits.
