Do you ever wear your cardigans slouched off one shoulder like this? I used to think it was just something people did in photos, assuming it would be annoying to wear in real life. But surprisingly, it actually works without much fussing! My trick is to roll the slouched sleeve a few times, otherwise your hand will be lost in a cashmere abyss. Which actually doesn’t sound that bad. :)

*just* bought that Curve Madewell bag yesterday when I saw it on sale! Had the hardest time between the red or the black (red = gorgeous. black = long term potential) and finally went with black.

I actually have worn a sweater slouched off my shoulders, and I am amazed it works. It feels kinda sophisticated, like wearing a wrap, but even cozier.
I also watched a video short from Signe at Use Less, and she showed how you can wear a crewneck sweater as a shrug–put it on as usual, and then keep your arms in the sleeves and pull the sweater back off over your head and tuck it back behind your neck. It works! I wonder if it would work with a cardigan, too, if you button it up first.
Finally, thank you for the link to the Jenni Kayne sale. I have been fantasizing about that coccoon cardigan for years, but I knew I would feel swallowed up by it in real life, and I want to be able to layer a cardigan under jackets and blazers. But the cropped one in chocolate brown should work beautifully, and it fills a specific hole in my wardrobe, so I purchased it. So excited!!
