I could not come up with anything creative to wear today, so it’s back to the basics! Jeans, sneakers, and my coziest, comfiest sweater.
Having an unbridled enthusiasm for personal expression via fashion is wonderful, but sometimes it comes back to bite me because I expect so much from my clothes. Do you ever feel this way? I always want to feel like my outfit is a 10 (plus a little extra!).
But that’s entirely too much pressure to put on myself. :)
So today, I’m releasing that pressure, and leaning into the simple joy of wearing my favorite basics. No need to overthink it.
