Yes, as a matter of fact, I do have this dress in black too! When I’m in a minimalist mood (which is 90% of the time in summer) there’s nothing better than this dress in black. Here’s how I styled it the other day.
But when I’m craving a pop of color, this dress in red DOES IT for me. It still has the clean lines of a minimalist dress, but that bright red color makes me feel all zingy.
In fact, it might be my best purchase of summer ’24!
No, I take that back — it’s way too early in the summer to make that call. The first official day of summer was just one week ago.
And yet, I keep getting emails about “end of summer” sales right now. Sorry, what? I can’t be convinced that July is pre-fall.
This year in particular, I have no wish to rush summer away. It is my favorite season, after all. So I’ll just be over here enjoying it fully — in this cute dress.
Can’t wait to wear it to our family cookout for the Fourth of July. :)
