Taking an outfit from internet inspo to reality

I am living for blue and green outfits these days. There’s *something* about this color combo — it feels bold yet normal at the same time.

My initial inspiration for this outfit came from this look from Mathilde Augusta. I MEAN. The moment I saw it, I had to track down the pants.

Found: Ganni Stripe Denim Stary Jeans.

Sold out.

After I recovered from the (momentary) devastation, I decided it was cool. It gave me a chance to create my version of the look from my own closet.

So I grabbed my blue stripe button up shirt and green printed pants. They may not be the Ganni green stripe pants, but the vibe is still playful and colorful so it works. The inspo pic featured heels, but I opted for flip flips (very me), and then added double pearl necklaces to finish the look.

I loved shopping my closet for this look. And I’m so happy with how it turned out! It’s similar enough to the inspiration in pattern play and color palette — yet it still feels like my own.
