My Instagram algorithm has learned that cute dog content is what I interact with the most, so my feed is basically all greyhounds and whippets doing silly things.
I don’t hate it. :)
I realized the other day that I haven’t seen much fashion content on social media the past couple months.
Again, somewhat surprisingly, I don’t hate it.
Instead of intaking an endless scroll of outfits this fall, I’ve been able to just kind of chill. My mind is less: What are people wearing? What’s in? What’s out? What should I buy next? And instead it’s more: What do I have in my closet? What works for me? What makes me feel good? What can I make with what I have?
So yes, here I am in another mini skirt + big sweater combo, just like Wednesday and just like Monday. Third time this week!
But I see the repetition as a very good thing. It means I’m honed in on what works for me, I’m less distracted by aspirational outfits, and my wardrobe is functioning well for my everyday life. Yay!
This Lululemon skirt is so easy to throw on, and it’s got built in shorts! And this Aritzia fleece was one of my most worn items from last fall — I’m so excited to wear it again.
