“Do it, wear the tight top, it’ll be great!”
This was my self-talk while putting together this outfit.
For me, trying to get myself to wear a tight top is like trying to walk a dog in a direction it does not want to go thankyouverymuch.
No Tight Tops is one of my most personal and stubborn preferences. Love them on other people! I’m just uncomfy in them.
So eventually, it turned into a bargaining situation with myself:
“Okay fine, put the tight top under a big button up shirt.”
Annnnnnd I was uncomfortable in this outfit, even with the big button down shirt.
Here’s the thing — I’m glad I tried though. My preferences tend to change from year to year, and who knows — a previous NO might have suddenly transform into a YES!
It’s always a good idea to see if you’ve changed your mind about the things you once decided weren’t for you.
But this time, it was still a no. Good data! Now I can move confidently in that direction. :)

Gosh, I think you look great. I am wearing a high neck tank top as I write this with a kimono on top. I’m certainly not anywhere near your size but I’m feeling good. Might be an age factor meaning the older you get the more comfortable you get!
Wow, I really thought this outfit was perfect with the tight top and loose bottom! I love playing with loose/tight fittings. For me, this was an ABSOLUTELY YES!
