Wanna frolic?

There comes a point each spring where my sporty style is momentarily suspended and I MUST wear a poetic dress. Nothing else will do but an ultra romantic dress that makes me feel all Pride and Prejudice. (Okay fine, the sporty style is still there with the Sambas and ball cap, but you get it.)

I’ve been a fan of the Christy Dawn/Doen aesthetic for many years, but this is the frilliest I’ve ever gone! A ruffled collar! That corset detail! Eyelet trim!

All I need is a daisy chain crown and I’m ready to go frolic in a field.

I found this gem of a dress at a pop-up in San Diego last weekend.
