I wore exclusively neutrals for a long, long time, so if you would’ve told me a year ago that I’d be wearing a bright red fleece with orange gingham shorts, I probably would’ve laughed.
But here we are! :-D
(For reference, here’s what I wore on this day a year ago. Still love the outfit, still love neutrals, but it’s definitely an entirely different vibe.)
All I know is that I crave color, joy, playfulness, and a sense of humor when I get dressed these days.
These Anthro boxer shorts are on sale for $29 and they are substantial. The inseam is generous (and I’m wearing them rolled up here). The fabric has a nice weight and doesn’t feel flimsy. Overall, they feel like they were designed to wear out and about, instead of to bed.
I’m wearing an XS here — they run a scooch big, so either take your usual size if you want a baggier look or size down one like I did.
