I can feel that summer shift in the air. It’s in the little things — driving with the windows down and the music up, wiggling my toes in the grass, eating baked peaches with ice cream, and watching a thunderstorm roll in.
Summer is my season. For me, it’s like a little miracle each year — my body picks up on the slower rhythm and starts unfurling and softening. Give me a little sweat on my skin, sunshine on my shoulders, and easy clothes.
And speaking of easy clothes, this Everlane tank dress was my go-to last summer. Pretty sure it will be again this summer too.
I don’t usually like tight dresses/tops, but this one isn’t skin tight and has more of a body skimming fit. Quince makes a similar dress too. I can’t speak to the fit, but the price is amazing at $39!
I took a light touch today when it came to styling — just flip flops, a ball cap, and a big tote. That’s another thing I love about summer — a return to simplified dressing. I’m more content to just let a dress be a dress instead of wondering how I could spice it up. Kinda nice.
