We’re officially in autumn now, so I’m taking stock of the major players in my fall wardrobe.
These jeans are it for me.
If you’re into a lower rise, get these — and keep in mind, this isn’t the low rise of the 00’s. There’s no 1-inch zipper fly on these jeans.
What a time that was, right?
No, these are a nice, tasteful 10-inch “low” rise. (Funny how the definition of low rise and high rise changes.)
I love pairing them with a not-skin-tight-but-not-oversized top that’s also short-but-not-cropped. Very specific, I know. But once you find one or two, you start to see them everywhere.

I moved last week, so posts might be a little sporadic while I settle in, whew! Moving is hard work! This outfit was shot in my old place right before the move, but I can’t wait to show you the new place soon!

I love the short but not cropped tops! Let us know where you find them. Sometimes I have trouble with those; many are either too short or too long.
Yes! They are a little elusive, but I’ve found a few. The Abercrombie Body Skimming Tee or Reformation Classic Tee are both that short-but-not-cropped fit. And the Reformation Clara cardigan sweater has that same fit too. I’ll definitely keep posting them when I find them!
