Before we get into this outfit, I’m so excited about a small but meaningful shift here on Unfancy — better photos.
I haven’t been super thrilled with my iPhone mirror selfies for a while now, but I also haven’t had the bandwidth to figure out a solution. Sometimes that’s just how it goes when you’re juggling a lot.
But today, I pulled my old Olympus camera out of my camera bag, and the difference has made me feel giddy. The photos feel softer, richer, and more textured — and I’m all about this little upgrade. Thanks for hanging with me while I figured it out. :)

You know how devoted I am to my flip flops. But lately, I’ve been needing a slightly more polished sandal. So when I found these silver toe ring sandals (from Old Navy of all places!), I jumped. That simple silver detail feels cool, and it quietly ties in with my silver jewelry. Best part — they are under $15 right now.
If you’ve been tuned in to the larger fashion realm lately, you’ll know there’s been this low-key boho resurgence happening. It’s been fun to find ways to nod to it without leaving my own style behind. This combo of a boho textured sweater + dark jeans + elevated accessories strikes that perfect blend of organic-minimalist that feels very me.
So there you have it! A few small upgrades — in my photos, in my closet — and I’m feeling really happy with where things are right now.

A tiny upgrade that I’ve been loving is drinking Crio Bru in the mornings (it’s still cool where I live). It feels healthy and cozy and doesn’t spike my caffeine levels. (I realize I sound like an advertisement, which I swear is not the case, haha.)
