A few posts ago, I mentioned some outfit starters I’ve been super inspired to try lately — and one of them was cowboy boots and bike shorts. What an unexpected combo! I LOVE IT. The contrast between the sporty bike shorts and the cowboy boots is SO GOOD. Plus, nothing injects a bit of sass into a look quite like a cowboy boot, and I’ve been craving some sass lately!
I was drawn to this particular pair of boots because they are true cowboy boots, not a fashion boot trying to be a cowboy boot. But they still have beautiful lines and minimal stitching that satisfy my fashion-loving self. There are so many fun color options available, but I went with jet black for a sleek look.
Also! Everything at Jenni Kayne is 25% off right now, including the Cashmere Cocoon Cardigan I’m wearing. It’s an investment piece for sure, but if it’s been on your wish list, now is a good time to get it.
I’ve been wearing my JK cardi consistently for well over a year now, and it has become one of my most cherished (and most useful) pieces in my wardrobe. It’s holding up beautifully. Just a few pills here and there along the sleeves, but pilling happens with all knits, so I was expecting this. It’s delightfully soft, warm, and light. I highly recommend it.
