I often want so badly to find an outfit formula I can put on repeat — something I love, that fits well, that I can throw on without thinking. I crave that easy, no-stress kind of approach to getting dressed.
But the moment I find it — the moment something works — a different voice pops up.
Shouldn’t I be shaking things up? Shouldn’t I try something new? Shouldn’t I be more inventive, more stylish, more…something?
It’s like, I’ve found the ease I was looking for…and then I question it the second it arrives?
LOL. Sometimes you’ve just gotta shake your head and laugh.
And also notice.
Notice when you’re cutting your own satisfaction short. Notice when you’re distrusting steadiness. Notice when something’s supporting you beautifully, but you’re not letting it.
Anyway, in this phase of life right now, I’m trying to stay a little longer with what works. To trust that ease isn’t laziness — it’s just one less thing to overcomplicate.
So if you’ve found a formula you love, wear it again. And again. Let it hold you. Let it be easy.
Is there an outfit you’ve been repeating lately? I’d love to hear what it is, and what you love about it!

This outfit has some irresistible 90s vibes… I love it!
Outfit formulas really matter to me (because it feels good not to overcomplicate things at the moment), but I’m not in your line of work. For people gravitating towards fashion, it must be harder to resist the urge to add something, I guess.
I’m loving the new style of your pictures recently. I’m “guilty” of repeating shorts + knitted jumpers! :)
