I absolutely love wearing head to toe black — I especially gravitate towards it in the winter, but the past few years it’s spilled over into all the other seasons as well.
I’ve found it can actually be a bit easier to pull off an all-black look in the warmer months because you can break it up by showing a little skin. Plus you can lighten the look with summer-y white accessories. For this look, I chose white sneakers, a canvas bag, and pearl hoop earrings.
And speaking of those pearl hoops, aren’t they gorgeous? They are stunning on their own, but they take on an otherworldly quality when paired with an all-black look. The contrast just gets me every time! These pearl hoops are a relatively new addition and I’m so happy with them already. They are a nice shake up to my usual silver jewelry.

I love a warm weather all-black look too! I normally do biker shorts, but I like the looser short you have here. Do you have any short socks you recommend for shoes like this or do you forgo socks altogether? My short socks always roll down throughout the day
Hi Christy! I wear no show socks by Pair of Thieves from Target. I think they are in the men’s section actually. I gotta say though, they have a tendency to roll down too. I’ve been considering trying a terrycloth shoe insert instead of socks, but haven’t tried one yet. I’ll let you know how it goes if I do!
