It’s such a LOOK, and yet there’s nothing tight, nothing restricting, nothing to fuss with — just comfort and ease all the way.
And that color! Have you ever seen a more gorgeous shade of green?!
Okay, quick breakdown:
First up, these shorts. They have a boxer short look to them, which I love for casual days. The elastic waistband makes them super comfy, and I like wearing them with the waistband rolled down. Made from a soft and breathable poplin, they’re a light, breezy option for warm days.
Next up, the matching button up shirt. It has a super relaxed fit with drop shoulders. You know how I’m obsessed with a good drape — and this shirt doesn’t disappoint! It drapes and moves beautifully. All the fit details of this shirt have been considered — the size of the collar, the cuffs, the cut of the hem, the shoulder drop — everything feels thoughtful.
Something to note: While the fit feels high end, the fabric does have an intentionally worn-in look. The poplin isn’t super crisp — it has more of a vintage feel. Since the set is casual, I don’t mind this a bit, but it’s something to know.
This set is the first thing I’ve ordered from Monrow, but after seeing the quality and design for myself, I’m eager to try more from them. I already have my eye on this low-back poplin maxi dress for summer.
