Yep, this Everlane dress is just as good as I thought it’d be!
It’s bra strap friendly, the fabric is substantial, and it’s cut with extra room in the hip! Stunning, but also laid back.
I threw a hoodie on top the other day because it was chilly, and I like how it turned out kinda slouchy and sporty.
Also, I’ve got to say, I’m really proud of my jewelry game these days. I’ve never been much into jewelry, but I feel that shifting a bit. I’m currently discovering the power of a few well-chosen pieces of jewelry, and the profound impact they can have on a simple wardrobe.
For me, it was a trial-and-error process to find jewelry with a design + tone that spoke to my personal style.
For example, a few years back, I tried to get into the layered gold coin necklace look — I love it on other people, but that intricate layered look didn’t work for me.
It turns out I’m much more drawn to clean, minimal, sculptural jewelry. Like the dome ring and chubby hoops I’m wearing in this post.
And while I like gold jewelry in small doses, a lot of gold jewelry just feels off on me.
Now I know I actually prefer mostly silver jewelry. (Though I do throw in touches of gold too, because I like a mixed metal look.)
It’s been exciting to reincorporate jewelry into my personal style!

I’m totally with you on the gold jewelry. My skin tones are almost identical to yours, and gold makes me look like I’m channelling my Roma Great Grandmother. Love, love, love silver!
Yes, team silver here also!!
