How about another sporty outfit today?
These shorts are from the same collection as the joggers in yesterday’s post — A&F’s Travel collection. I love this whole collection, and these shorts have quickly become a regular in my rotation. The super high rise makes it easy to pair with crop tops, the seam down the front is a nice detail, and I appreciate the clean look thanks to the slash pockets on the side (and the lack of patch pockets).
Okay, we’ve got to talk about these shoes! I know dad sandals aren’t everyone’s thing, but they are most certainly mine. I’ve had a trusty pair of black Tevas for years (and I love them), but I’ve also been wanting to add a pair of dad sandals that feel a little *fancier*. The Chanel quilted dad sandals would be my top pick, but they are out of my budget. So I was delighted to find this similar pair that’s still high quality but for a much friendlier price. They are so comfortable right out of the box and I love the adjustable straps. While I styled them sporty here, I’m excited to style them with delicate pieces and pretty dresses to add contrast and roughen up the look a bit. They are the perfect counterbalance to delicate, pretty pieces. I can’t wait to style these all throughout the spring and summer.

I’m very happy you are back, Caroline. I was worried about you and missed your posts. They inspire me a lot. Love and appreciation from Brazil!
Hi I’ve been following your content for years, you were a huge inspiration to me in helping me find my style. I remember when you used to wear this marc jacobs purse, haven’t seen that guy in a while! I love watching your content evolve as you do. It’s so good to see you still posting, would you consider maybe posting a life update? I am so curious how you and your husband are, if you’re still in Austin, TX, ect. :D much love from Denver, CO!
Thanks for being here through all these years, Kayleigh! And OMG I still have that Marc Jacobs purse! I know it’s going to come back around one of these days. :) I do plan on doing more life updates as I get back into the swing of blogging and sharing. We are doing well and are living in Dallas — we’ve been here four years now and love it!
Hi Caroline,
You weren’t kidding about how comfortable those sandals are! I just got mine yesterday and I immediately called a friend who’s coming on vacation with us next week and told her she MUST have them.
She’s recovering from a terrible accident and needs a sandal with arch support, and a wide foot bed, and can be easily adjusted for varying degrees of swelling as her legs and ankles heal.
They also have to be somewhat cute, because, vacation!
BINGO!!!!
I can’t wait until she gets them. I love mine so much. This was what we needed!
Thanks for always sharing great products with wonderful craftsmanship that’s affordable.
Hi Cynthia! I’m so glad you snagged a pair and that they are working out so well! They really are the best. I’m so sorry to hear about your friend. That is so difficult. Friends are invaluable at a time like that — she is lucky to have you. Please send her my wishes for healing and recovery. I hope your vacation is restful and fun! <3
Hi Caroline,
I am so excited that you are back! Can you tell me what length necklace you are wearing? Is it the 16 or 18 inch?
Hi Tammy! I’m wearing the 16in length. :)
