How cute is this dress?!
Short, loose, and that high neck is beautiful! Oh! And, it has pockets!
Back when spring was just a whisper, I fell in love with the Poppy Dress from Posse.
However, I needed something a little more budget friendly, so when I stumbled across this dress from Abercrombie I was so excited! It went out of stock for a little while, so I held off posting about it, but now it’s back! It’s also currently 20% off!
I so appreciate the easy shape of this dress — it’s definitely a comfy, throw-on-and-go dress for spring and summer.
Also, I finally got my tote from Adanola — shipping to the US took forever and my tracking number didn’t ever work, but it arrived at last!
And wow, it was worth the wait.
Those thick straps are so comfortable on my shoulder, and I love how BIG this bag is! It’s going to make the perfect pool or overnight bag.
For everyday use, I actually decided to safety pin the bag at the corners so it would be a little smaller. I love the added versatility and am so happy with the way it turned out!

Abercrombie dress link not working!
Eek! Thank you! Just fixed!
Goals Caroline,
Simple and classic
Thank you!
…I bought this so fast. Natural fibres, same silhouette as one of my old favourite dresses, under $100, comes in a tall size? Whew.
Hi Caroline, how high-maintenance is the cotton/linen blend fabric? Would it need steaming after you packed it in a suitcase? Thanks for your work and advice.
Hi Selena! It would definitely come out of a suitcase with some wrinkles. However, I don’t plan to steam mine or try to get it wrinkle-free — the black fabric makes the wrinkles much less noticeable, and I also don’t mind leaning into the wrinkly natural charm of linen, especially for a casual day. Other than that, maintenance is easy — just wash on cold and hang to dry.:)
You literally have the best taste and the best picks in dresses I still have the black silk, one shoulder Madewell one you blogged about years ago.
I still have that one too, Kristy! Thanks so much!
