In last Thursday’s Really Good Stuff post, I mentioned my newest brand discovery, Modern Citizen.
I placed my first order with them last week — happy to say shipping was quick and the quality impressed me!
They have plenty of casual, unfancy pieces that I gravitate towards — like the vest top I’m wearing today.

They also have a good selection of professional wear-to-work pieces. If you work in an office environment, and your personal style leans to the minimal/modern side, I think you’ll love them!
For workwear pieces, I especially like their Jude Wrap Blouse, the Janice Cinched Wrap Dress, and their Ahn Wide Leg Stretch Pant.
So, back to this vest top. Isn’t it a nice little change-up from my usual basic tees? That open button front detail makes it feel striking, special, and summery. You can wear it without a bra or try it with a deep v camisole underneath.
