Basic black and white tanks are a staple in my warm weather wardrobe. High neck and square neck are my everyday go-to cuts. But when I need something with a little more personality and presence, I reach for an asymmetrical one-shoulder tank.
Of course, I love the look of it, but I also have a lot of nostalgia for a one-shoulder top. Back in high school, if there was any need for a formal dress, you can bet I went for a one-shoulder option. It feels like something so true to my own personal style, simply because I have a long history with this silhouette.
It’s been fun and fascinating to observe how I gravitate to the same silhouettes, in new ways, over the years.

I can’t wear earrings anymore for some reason, however, the shape of the pearls in these are similar to a pearl necklace given to me by my late grandmother. Seeing you style pearls in a fresh and casual way makes me want to reach for it a bit more. :)
