I haven’t taken the romper plunge yet, but since I love faking things (like boyfriend jeans), I thought I’d fake a romper too. The key to making it work? Wear black + choose a top and a bottom made of similar fabrics.
AND wear a Panama hat, so everyone is focusing on the hat. The “romper” fades into the background like magic. ;)
This is a perfect vacation outfit, yes, but when the temps in Texas reach 100 I’d wear it, oh say, EVERYWHERE. It’s just that breezy and cool.

Love this idea! Thanks for sharing, Caroline!! I’m a tall gal and it’s hard to find rompers that fit well; they’re usually just so short!! I had given up even tho I think they’re super cool, but I’ll definitely give this a try :D
