Well people, these are the final few weeks of the spring season! I’m in the throes of shopping for my summer capsule–and I can’t wait to share all the new looks on July 1st! But as we’re wrapping up, I thought I’d do a few recap posts of my favorite items + multiple ways to style them. Up first: chambray!
I don’t know about you, but if my closet was on fire and I had the chance to grab one thing, it’d be my chambray shirt. I love it + feel comfortable and confident in it + wear it all the time.
I used to always pair it with skinny jeans + flats + a cognac leather bag. But not only did that get boring, I was also pretty much guaranteed to be twinsies with at least one other person. So here are some different ways I style my chambray shirt to keep it fresh + different.
Top left: Front tuck it into a pair of flowy shorts + add gold accessories.
Top center: Wear it open with a striped tee underneath.
Top right: Tie it around your waist!
Bottom left: Wear jean on jean in the same wash.
Bottom center: Wear it open over a dress with cognac accessories.
Bottom right: Wear it tucked into a midi skirt with chunky heels.
I love all your looks! The chambray shirt is one of my staples too…the problem is I’m not good at the capsule thing. I think I need to take a lesson from you on the introspection during a shopping hiatus. I’ve got about 7 variations on the chambray shirt. Is that terrible? LOL.

i’m loving your post! so anxious to see your summer wardrobe selections!! I ruined my chambray top while staining a piece of furniture (DIYer probs) and cant decide if I should invest in another! hmmmm
