Capsule #2 // Outfit 51
Fifty-one outfits?! Please join me in a moment of shocked silence — because honestly, I was never really sure if I was going to keep up with this blogging-an-outfit-a-day thing. But I’m really proud + happy that I have! And I’m having a BALL, so there’s no sign I’ll be stopping anytime soon.
We’ve still got a few outfits left for Spring, and then THIS WEEKEND we’re photographing my new Summer capsule wardrobe + looks. That is, if there’s anything to photograph. Because as of right now I haven’t bought anything for Summer. I’ve been planning and pre-shopping for a while, but now I have one week and I’m supposed to buy things. Did I plan to shop so last minute? No. Did I put it off because I’m having trouble deciding? Mayyybe.
That’s where I go wrong when it comes to shopping. I deliberate and change my mind and return things and return them again and over think these decisions way too much. But I’m going to work on that this week. NO OVER THINKING. I’ll let you know how it goes.
Also, what do we think of this outfit? Kind of hipster-at-the-grocery-store? Okay.

That’s 52, lady! Scroll backwards– I’m keeping up with your superb ideas. Can’t wait to see your summer capsule.
Aha! Of course you photograph all your outfits in advance. I was trying to figure out how you got such nice photos every day. (Silly me.) You have really inspired me to do a capsule wardrobe starting this summer. I have it all put together except one item — not too shabby considering I wasn’t really shopping with it in mind. I guess I’ll see how it goes.
Love that jacket! Very excited to see what you pick for your summer wardrobe.
Will we get to see your summer picks before July?? You have inspired me to try my first capsule, but I’m having a hard time filling in the gaps of my wardrobe with quality pieces that I can still afford. I imagine it’ll be easier the second time around when I have more of a foundation, but…tips? Also, as a fellow Texan, are you including any layering pieces/jackets for summer? With the weather, I don’t know that it’s necessary, but I also work in a cold office! :)
