Capsule #3 / Outfit 22
What’s that? You need to wear something breezy and chic today?
But you don’t know what to wear?
Well, now you do. You’re welcome.
(And pssst … It’s Unfancy’s 100th post! #partylikearockstar)
Sorry for the complete and utter lack of words today — yesterday’s post wore me out. :)
Dress: Forever 21 (similar)
Vest: American Eagle
Necklace: Anthropologie (similar)
Bag: Hobo
Shoes: J.Crew
Your bag is half part adorable and half part chic!! I love it :-) Lovely outfit and each piece is really well put together!
Love that bag, Caroline. May mini backpacks never die. (I also coveted mine in 1995!)

Congratulations on your 100th post! I love your blog so much as it has made me look at clothes in a completely different way. I thought that shopping on a budget meant you couldn’t have a sense of style but using your capsule wardrobe idea I now know you can! Thanks so much and keep the posts coming!
Congrats on 100 posts. Been loving going through your posts!
Congrats on your 100th! I’m a fan of accessorizing and layering and having a lot of pieces, but your blog always reminds me how being put together can still be simple. Super cute look xx
I LOVE your style, I love your blog, I love the idea of a capsule wardrobe.
Your blog has me so inspired, I’m planning out an end of the summer/beginning of the school year capsule wardrobe! It’s really fun, most of the time. I’ve totally had a few panic attack moments, though.
I’m a sewist/seamstress and a teacher (high school math & science by day, sewing classes on nights and weekends). So, my ultimate goal is to have a completely handmade wardrobe that I LOVE. And, it’s way easier to accomplish that if I don’t have a giant wardrobe to begin with. I’ve been using your capsule wardrobe planner as a way to keep my sewing projects in line with my end goals and personal style.
I’m so glad I found your blog, it’s been perfect timing for me. One of the independent pattern companies that I love has also been going through a similar series, Wardrobe Architect

Between the two of you, I think I’m finally feeling comfortable with my personal style.
So, thanks for writing this blog!
I’ve already taken two bags of clothes that don’t make me feel good about myself to be donated!
Happy 100th blog post, dear Caroline!! And it’s so cool to see you doing a “summer black” look today…I’m doing three variations on the theme this week!! :)

I think you are convincing me on the vest thing. Happy 100!
