Pair a panama hat with anything and it transforms into something beachy and wonderful.
A beachy look is so right for today, because Aaron and I are leaving for summer vacay — Miami!
Will Smith has been on heavy rotation for the last few weeks leading up to this trip, and today we finally get to experience this city for ourselves. We have lots of plans, like hitting up La Sandwicherie + visiting the Wynwood Art District, but if you have any other suggestions, we’re open.

Have the best time! I’ll be heading to Miami with my boyfriend for Labor Day and we’re so excited!
Remember, you’ll be in Miami during Miami Spice, an event the majority of restaurants take part in where they offer a discounted set menu! If you have time, head to Brickell for a walk during sunset, try dim sum at Blackbrick Chinese & Dim Sum, mojitos at YUCA, Area 31 (in the EPIC Hotel) for happy hour (get there early), and definitely Wynwood Walls.
Can’t wait to see the packing post and some pics from the trip. It’s getting me hyped for my own!

Hey! I love your style and have now fallen in love with Madwell. I am starting to purge my closet and going to start capsule wardrobe for the fall! Have a good vacation!
Have fun on vacation!! I’m sure it will be a blast! I do have a question for when you return. I am starting to purge my closet now in preparation to start a fall capsule wardrobe. But I am seeing a ton of great pieces on clearance now that I would like to purchase as basic layering pieces or even a couple for next summer. What are your thoughts on this?
