Hello and happy November!
It’s been a minute! I took an almost-two-year-long hiatus from blogging and social media — it was quite the reset, and a welcome one at that. During my time offline, I made a career pivot and went back to my roots in photography. I spent the better part of a decade working as a photographer in my 20s before I started blogging, so it’s felt wonderful to return to a familiar career in a fresh way.
However, I’ve also felt a growing desire to return to this space and create again — just fashion, just for fun. I started sharing and creating a little on LTK and Pinterest a couple weeks ago. And today I’ve got a whole blog post for you!
Today’s post is a 29-piece autumn wardrobe. I think you’ll love it.
STYLE: This collection is a mash up of a few different styles I’ve been playing with lately:
- Streetstyle / Sporty
- Parisian / Romantic Menswear
- Minimalist / Classic
COLOR PALETTE: I’ve got a neutral palette going — mostly cream, brown, beige, and black. Still loving those neutrals, but there’s a bit of blue in there too.
TEXTURE: The palette may be neutral, but this little collection is rich in texture. There’s sleek vegan leather, cozy wool knits, washed and faded denim, smooth silk, and ribbed fabrics.
SHAPE: To give even more interest to the neutral palette, I’ve included lots of striking shapes, like chunky lug sole shoes, sculptural bags, boxy sweater vests, wide leg trousers, and tall boots.
Have a look, and if you see something you like, you can shop it and support my blog at the same time by using the affiliate links throughout the post.
Also available in this cool black and white color combo.
4. Baguette Bag
5. Woven Tote
This tote is beautiful on its own, but it looks like it belongs in a Paris cafe with a patterned neutral silk scarf tied around the handle.
7. Sweater Vest (under $20)
This sweater — with an oversized fit, merino-cashmere blend, and ribbed texture — wins sweater of the year. A keeper for life.
I cannot say enough good things about those hoops. The silver finish feels modern and fresh. The coiled texture gives them a little something special. They are the perfect medium-large size. Plus they are so lightweight I forget I’m wearing them.
10. Silk Scarf
Makes for a great hair accessory or a simple way to change your favorite bag’s vibe.
11. Ball Cap
THESE JEANS. Great price — check. Petite, regular, and long inseam options — check. Curvy fit available — check. A hint of elastane to make them comfy while still looking like rigid denim — check. Amazing washes — check. They are simply the best jeans I’ve found in a long time.
12. Relaxed Trousers
13. Lug Sole Boots
These ankle booties are my steal of the season. Under $90 and the leather is so supple and soft. The details are on point with the square toe and comfortable low heel. I took a 7.5 — my usual boot size. They’re running low in stock, so here’s a similar suede version.
The pictures don’t do this one justice — this is the prettiest wool blazer coat I’ve ever seen. It also comes in solid camel or cream. Wear it with a turtleneck and jeans or try it with vegan leather joggers.
16. Puffer Coat
17. Coat Cardigan (also available in fawn brown and light grey)
18. Half Zip Sweatshirt Dress (under $20)
I wear this dress all. the. time. It’s surprisingly special. Style it with chunky sneakers and a crossbody, or try it with tall flat boots and a baguette bag.
It’s nearly impossible to find beautiful, dressy boots that also have a low, comfortable heel — but you can consider them found now. Great for everyday wear or for special occasions.
21. Lug Sole Boots
A black vegan leather shacket is surprisingly versatile and it adds a little extra dose of cool to any outfit. Just toss it on over a pair of jeans and a sweater and the whole look instantly feels modern.
24. Crop Denim Jacket (under $50)
27. Floral Cinched Top (under $50)
I’ve been living in this set in blue lately. The fabric quality is top notch, and the whole set is under $55. Wear it at home, or wear it out and about with chunky sneakers and a long wool coat.
