After wringing my hands about winter shoes, I felt compelled to put on a boot! This pair is a solid addition from last year. I love the way they look and feel — but honestly, I still need to get used to seeing myself in them. You know? Sometimes you’ve just gotta give yourself a minute to reacclimate. I find this to be especially needed at the beginning of a season. I’m curious — are you going through a readjustment period with your fall/winter clothes right now? How’s it going for you?
One of my favorite, subtle details about this look is the black leather jacket and boots paired with that deep chocolate brown suede bag. The brown is so dark that it’s almost black — but it’s not! Just a hint of clashing color and suddenly I’m in my cHaOtIc eRa. :-P

YES. Relate to this so much. I struggle with cold weather footwear, and I always seem to have that seasonal readjustment period too. Thank you for putting words to this sensation lol. My feet get mad if I don’t have a wide toe box, so even though I like some pointed toe looks, I have to be very cautious and can’t do back to back days. White leather sneaks and Blundstones are my old reliables, plus a pair of low heeled classic black Steve Madden boots, but I’d love to have more cute AND comfortable options in my rotation. Oh, and I’m on the hunt for thin warm socks, too. Good luck and looking forward to seeing what you find!
