Hello! I hope you had a lovely and restful Thanksgiving. Things at my end were so nice. It was one of the good years, you know? Last year, we ended up having to cancel Thanksgiving due to sickness, so being able to get together this year was extra sweet. One of my favorite memories was when the whole family sprawled out all over the living room to watch Home Alone one night. I just looked around the room and took it in with a happy heart. <3
So, onto today’s look! Remember my outfit starters post from a few weeks ago? Here’s another outfit inspired by that list! It all started with a color palette I felt undeniably drawn to: orange + camel.
(I actually can’t decide if these pants are red or orange. In the photos they look a little more red than they are in real life. Their listed color is “blood orange” but they also look like a poppy red to me. We’re going to call them orange in this post.)
The color orange isn’t usually in my palette — but also, why not? If I’m feeling drawn to it, why limit myself? So your neutral-loving gal is branching out a bit. Maybe my style is shifting a little. I’m open to it.
Anyway, this color combo feels like the meeting of two worlds — the ultimate no-nonsense neutral (camel) and the boldest, brightest, strongest color (orange). Together, they make magic!
