Big sweater, short skirt. I will happily wear this seasonally-confused combo for as long as the weather will allow.
The best thing about this skirt? Built-in shorts! And pockets! Plus it’s made of a stretchy, activewear fabric that doesn’t wrinkle, ride up, or lose its shape — yet the vibe of the skirt itself feels more streetwear than gymwear. I also appreciate anything from Alo where the logo isn’t absolutely SHOUTING its presence. Oh, the logo is there on this skirt, but it’s just not quite so loud in this khaki color. (Unfortunately this isn’t the case with the black color.)
I mentioned in my fall capsule wardrobe post that I’m so inspired by this “pop of red” trend, but I took a toned down spin on it and went with a went with this deep cherry instead of a red red. I love it, especially in small doses, like a ball cap. And what’s more autumnal than a color palette of deep cherry red and khaki? It makes me think of a school uniform in the best way — like a grown up take on the colors of Gryffindor. (Yes, I’m currently rewatching the movies right now — you?)

Where have you beeeeen? Haha. Love this (and any big top little bottom combo)
You could take a black sharpie and carefully colour in the alo logo on the black version . I did something similar with a pair of black Sorel snow boots that had an off-putting cream stripe around the outside and it worked really well, though obviously you’ve got potential for colour transfer from the sharpie if you wash it with lights.
