I’m such a fan of a loose mini dresses in spring and summer, and decided it’s a look I want to carry into fall and winter too.
I know not everyone lives in a climate that could allow for bare legs in winter, but where I live, we have a lot of chilly-but-not-cold days, so it works! If you wanted to make this look more cold-weather appropriate just add tall boots, tights, and a long wool coat.
This cashmere dress feels like a hug. It’s so comforting.
I’m wearing the Cocoa color, which is almost sold out, but it also comes in an Oatmeal color. I think the lighter Oatmeal shade makes for a nice transitional color, as the days get a little longer and we begin to approach spring.
I’m wearing a small in the dress and it fits perfectly. For reference, my measurements are: 30″ bust, 27″ waist, 37″ hip and I’m 5’5″.
The cashmere is soft enough to wear on its own, but I still wear a shirt underneath — it adds extra warmth, and gives a casual vibe to the outfit, which I love.
And! Wearing a shirt underneath significantly reduces the amount of washings this dress needs, extending its life.
I want my clothes to last years, not just seasons, and that one little thing — wearing a shirt underneath — actually does wonders for this! Love it when a simple solution is so effective.

Beautiful look! Bare legs in winter are absolutely not an option where I live, but it is still inspiring to see that what does not seem possible for me might be possible for someone else…
I love seeing what works for other people in other climates too, Christina! It’s so fascinating to see a different perspective — it often makes me think about things in a new way, which leads to new inspiration.
