A good pair of black yoga pants is a staple in my closet. I like to pair them with retro sneakers and white crew socks — not only does it keep my ankles cozy, it’s an updated way to style basic yoga pants. Then finish off the look with oversized layers on top.
I’ve been a fan of Aerie legging for a long time and I’m wearing their leggings here. But! I’ve also been eyeing Abercrombie’s new active line YPB. I haven’t tried any of their leggings yet, but their neutral, clean designs are calling to me.
What’s your favorite brand for good yoga pants? Have any of you tried Abercrombie’s leggings? Let me know in the comments!

My favorite leggings are my ONLY pair of lululemon leggings (and only thing I’ve ever bought there), which I’ve had since 2014…they are still going strong! They are soft, smoothing, and so comfortable. I do have a zella pair that I got during the Nordstrom sale, and while they are flattering, they’re not nearly as comfortable as the lululemon.
I haven’t tried A+F’s leggings, but my YPB top from them is my favorite for working out. I do like aerie overall (especially for lounge pants), and the price point is nice, so I’ll have to check them out
Also, bombas socks are the best!
Which sweatshirt are you wearing? The Classic Crew or Oversized?
Hi Kennieh! I’m wearing the classic in S.
I just checked out the A+F YPB line and I love it! I’m curious what your thoughts are on the workout dresses that are popping up? I feel like you could rock one! I just have no idea how I’d style it without looking too country club, ya know??
Hi Chelsea! I love the workout dresses in theory, but I haven’t found one yet that I’m totally in love with. I tried one last summer, and thought it was going to be a winner for me, but it just didn’t quite work. Similar to what you shared, I just felt like the styling was off or didn’t make sense for my life. But maybe I should try it again with different styling. :)
I have 2 pairs of the Abercrombie leggings and they really are so comfortable! You would love them.
So helpful to know, Dana, thanks!
I really like my Lululemon Align leggings for every day comfort. These are the leggings I’ve been wearing for years and they really hold up well.
A new favorite is the Paragon Sculptseam leggings. They have no front seam so there is no awkward creasing in the front. They also have some nice stitching on the back so they make your butt look good. They are soft and stretchy and the price is good. I feel very confident when I wear these leggings. Highly recommend.
I’m so glad you shared this, Rachel, because I was unfamiliar with Paragon until your comment! Thanks for putting a new brand on my radar! Always down for leggings that help the ol’ tush look her best. :)
Hello! Can I ask what size you bought for the Coaches Jacket? I love the oversized look you have going on with the outfit.
I’m wearing a Small :)
