Spring is right around the corner and I couldn’t be happier to welcome a new season. Each lengthening day, singing bird, and budding branch is an invitation to come out, embrace this day, enjoy this life.
The energy of this approaching season reflects where I am with my personal style and wardrobe too. So in March, I’ll be documenting my outfits here on the blog each day — just a simple outfit with a quick tip or thought. I’m excited — I feel grounded in my personal style and it feels so good to fully enjoy one of my favorite creative outlets once again.
Whenever I wear a crop top, I like to style it with an oversized piece on top — something like a boxy blazer, shirt jacket, or a sweatshirt looped around my shoulders. It makes the look more versatile, comfortable, and practical. If I get chilly or if I want to cover up a bit, it’s nice to have that oversized piece right there.
If you’re not into the crop top, it’s also easy to pull off this look with a full length tank tucked into the trousers.
These are the trousers I mentioned in my last Life Lately post. They are exceptional — the fabric is substantial and isn’t prone to wrinkle. They strike the right balance between wide and straight leg, with the perfect amount of drama. And best of all, they are machine washable! 10/10 in my book.
