I was late to the claw clip trend, but now that I’m on it, I’m on it. I don’t know why I waited so long!
My favorite thing about it? No headaches. See, sometimes when I wear my hair up in a top knot (do we call it that anymore?) I get a tender scalp or a headache. But with a claw clip, I never get a headache.
Plus the look is super chic, and it only takes a second to do.
The key is to find the right size clip for your hair length. As a general guide, the longer your hair, the longer your clip should be.
My hair is long, but fine and not super thick. For a while, I was using a claw clip that was too small because I assumed that my fine hair would slip out of a bigger clip. But it just wasn’t looking right.
When I tried a longer clip, everything clicked into place! This one from Amazon is my favorite. If you’ve got fine hair, you’ll love that it has extra little hooks inside the clip that keep your hair from slipping. It’s a winner!
So how about you? Are you into claw clips? How are you wearing your hair this summer? Got any simple, quick hairstyles to share? I’d love to hear in the comments!
