I can’t tell you how long I’ve waited for this moment. The most iconic garment to represent 90’s minimalism is back! Yes, I’m talking about the TUBE TOP.
Allow me to introduce you to the Spritz linen tube top from Reformation. I love it and here’s why:
1 | It makes such a strong statement, and yet it’s a breeze to style. Just pop it on with a pair of baggy or straight jeans and flip flops — done and done. (Other ideas: loose linen pants, running shorts, baggy denim shorts, parachute pants, a floral midi skirt — the options are endless.)
2 | It’s a little loose in the middle, making it super comfortable for everyday wear.
3 | I’ve been looking for a comfortable top that will keep me cool on a sweltering summer day. On the hottest of days, I want a top that doesn’t require a bra since they can get so sweaty. Well, going braless is definitely an option since the linen has some structure and weight to it.
4 | Last but not least, it’s machine washable.
The Spritz top comes in silk too. The silk is gorgeous, but it’s dry clean only and a little more precious than the linen — it would make for more of an occasion top than an everyday top.

LOVE this top! Weird question – but is it easy to get on and off? It looks like it doesn’t have a zipper? Thank you!!
Hi Caitlin! That’s a great question — if something is difficult to get on and off it can be a deal breaker! This top is actually super easy to get on and off. There’s no zipper, so you do have to put it on over your head, but since the top itself is pretty loose, it’s not an ordeal. Also, they nailed the elastic band at the top — it’s tight enough to hold the top up securely, but not so tight that it’s difficult to get on and off.
