Denim and a silk button down — it doesn’t get much more timeless than that. However I wanted to give this classic combo some zing and pep.
One easy way to add interest to an outfit? Show a hint of skin. For this look, I put a matching bra top underneath and left the shirt unbuttoned. It’s a styling detail that feels modern and fresh, yet still subtle. Plus it’s easily reversible — you can always button up if need be.
Let’s talk about this bag for a second. I love it so much. Of course it’s beautiful on the outside (love that woven pattern and the overall shape), but its usability and size is where it really shines. It’s practical — big enough to hold my 32oz Hydroflask (which I always have with me), yet small enough that my keys never get lost in the abyss. It also comes in black and white — I love it so much I’m almost tempted to get another color.

I feel like this move is something no one would think twice about seeing at the beach in the summer but might do a double take at brunch in the spring. It’s kinda ballsy and I love it.
I’m so glad you are back, and loving the content! I have noticed that all the new outfits are very casual, and some of us have had to go back from working at home… Could you please do some professional casual outfits? 😘
Hi Nicole! I’ll try to sprinkle some in soon! :)
If I could only wear one shirt for the rest of my life it’d be a black silk button up. Love the vibe of this entire outfit.
