There’s nothing like a loose, linen dress to keep you cool in the summer heat.
This dress is an old favorite of mine. The timeless, comfortable shape keeps me reaching for it year after year. In past years, I’ve styled this dress with more of a farmer’s market vibe with a straw hat and white Vejas but as my style shifts, I feel drawn to toughening up the dress with chunky fisherman sandals and a ball cap. It’s fun to see how simple accessory swaps can make an older item feel new again.
These fisherman sandals have ended up being such a fantastic addition to my summer sandal collection. Still no blisters, and I love how secure they feel on my foot. They are unique and a little unexpected, while also feeling nostalgic.

I love love love the look of those fisherman’s sandals. Do you find your feet stay cool? I sweat so easily, I usually don’t venture beyond flip-flops in the summer, but those sandals are making me think I need to up my summer shoe game…unless I’m gonna have sweaty, stinky feet. Any feedback on that issue with these shoes?
Hi Jen! I hear you! I haven’t noticed a major uptick in sweaty feet when I wear them — the air circulation is pretty good, even with all the straps.
Good to know! Thank you! 💖
Love the look! I want to get the sandals.!
