Capsule #2 // Outfit 34

This shirt. I get so many thumbs up, high fives, and approving nods when I wear it. It’s a miracle shirt–people just go crazy for it. You would think that I had put on my wedding dress. But nope, it’s just a soft, comfy tee. Get yourself one and wear it around your home state–you’ll get a crazy boost of self-esteem on your casual days. ;)

So my Texas tee is on top rotation right now, and I wanted to find a way to dress it up just a little.   You know, a look that’s perfect for margaritas + mexican food. So I added chunky heels to the bottom of the equation. I’m digging’ it.

I know I’ve mentioned this before, but chunky heels are the way to go for a cool, unfancy look. Why? Imagine this outfit with sharp black stilettos. Okay, yes it would actually look great. But I would feel uncomfortable and out of place, especially in Austin–casual culture at it’s finest. So chunky heels are a way to add height and interest without dressing up your look too much.

Love, love, love this outfit. I may just have to get the Texas “y’all” shirt and I’m not even from there :)

Love the tee! My hubby is from Texas and would love it too. I need Oklahoma or California though. ;)
