Capsule #2 // Outfit 10

My go to uniform is jean on jean. Not sure what to wear? The answer is always jean on jean. But I was getting tired of the usual dark indigo jeans on bottom + light faded chambray on top combo. So I decided to switch them! Light faded jeans on bottom + dark chambray on top–it’s the new look, kids!

ALSO. Let’s celebrate for a moment, shall we? This is the 10th outfit post on Unfancy. *happy dance* I’m having a ball, and I hope you are too. I just want to take a moment and tell you that all of your kind words, support, and conversations have meant the world to me–especially here at the beginning. Truly, this is fun because of you. Here’s to buying less + choosing well + living lighter + doing it all with serious style.

And here’s to the next 90 outfit posts!

Glasses: Warby Parker

Top: J.Crew

Caroline, your blog totally inspired me to do a HUGE wardrobe purge this weekend! I loved your suggestion of taking everything out of your closet and only putting the items back in that you loved the moved. Very helpful! I just blogged about my experience and gave you a little link love as well.

Caroline, I just wanted you to know that you are such an inspiration to me. I’ve been trying to revamp my wardrobe for some time now…I’m 29 going on 30 and don’t look my age (most people think I am 22 or 23) so seeing these sleek and sophisticated outfits you put together so precisely is wonderful. And thank you for including the links because I’ve already snagged a few items based on your suggestions! Here’s to reducing what’s in my closet (I got rid of tons of stuff over the weekend thanks to you!) and focusing my finances on what’s most important in life :) I can’t wait to see how your blog develops. It truly is my new favorite!

Natalie! Your sweet comment made my day. I can totally relate to the “people still think I’m 22” comment, which is one reason I wanted to start dressing well–but still casual and true to my style, you know? Thank you for the love, and I’m so excited to keep up with your journey. Let me know how it goes! xoxo Caroline

I’m loving your blog so far and am excited to see what you do with it. I’d be interested in seeing posts tagged with the individual items you’re wearing in it. That way someone could click on the tag for that item and see all the outfits you made with those jeans or that bag, for instance.

This is SO my go-to style! I just add a light, colorful scarf to make it look different each time. I’ve learned how to tie them in different ways to add a touch of fun and flirtiness :) Cool stuff, Caroline!
