I’ve had so much fun styling this dress all week!
So far we’ve looked at styling it for chilly weather, styling it for warm weather, and we’ve even looked at changing the shape a little by tying a long sleeve tee around the waist.
Ready for our third and final look?
This time, I focused on simple styling and a darker palette. Instead of cognac or warm tan, I toned it down with deep brown accessories. To be honest, this is probably my least fav look of the week, but it’s still a good one.
A few of you have been curious why I haven’t paired any jewelry with this dress yet. It’s all about personal preference, but to me the dress is so busy on it’s own that I didn’t want to add jewelry to the mix. Although if I did, I’d probably go minimal and cool by adding a plain gold cuff or a simple black choker. What kind of jewelry would you pair with a printed dress like this?
Yep! Another bonus look! I wanted to change up the shape again, so I added a jean jacket. The slightly oversized fit of the jacket gives the dress more of a drop-waist look.
And there you have it!
What do you think? Which of the three looks this week ended up being your favorite? And I’m curious — what kind of jewelry would you pair with a busy print like this?
Next week is going to be fun. Remember how I’ve been looking for a pink tee for my capsule? Well, I finally found the right one, and you’ll get to see it next week! And exactly one week from today, Lee of Style Bee and I will be kicking off our Spring 10×10 remix. Mark your calendars, read up on our past remixes, and start picking out your 10 pieces — I can’t wait!
