Capsule #3 / Outfit 11
That’s a nice outfit and all, but let’s mix it up a bit, shall we?
Denim vest + denim shirt? Why yes … I do like it!
I’m in like with this denim vest. You see, I have yet to find a jean jacket that I can pull off. I’ve bought + returned my fair share of jean jackets. But the jean vest … now that’s something I can do with confidence. Especially this one. It has larger armholes, giving it a modern vibe.
Both of these outfits are winners for a summer night dinner in downtown Austin. The heels + the necklace elevate these casual pieces to create a “going out” outfit.
I honestly can’t decide which look I like better. Which would you pick?

I think I like the outfit better with the denim vest. It does add a little something that just totally works.
Now, about you not being able to pull off a denim jacket… that is silly, girl. You always look fabulous and a denim jacket seems so you. I understand though because that is how I am with maxi dresses. I think I look awful in them but love them on others. We all have our little hang ups, I guess:)

Found your blog through Into Mind, and downloaded your wardrobe planner. I have to admit that I never thought it will be quite a challenge to create a capsule wardrobe of 37 pieces. I am still working on it! Now I need to re-assess all I thought I knew about my closet.
