Capsule #3 / Outfit 36
Aaron and I are still bummin’ it on the beach in Miami, so it feels a little weird to be talking about fall right now, but let me pose this idea:
This outfit. Plus ankle booties + a floppy felt hat.
Right?! Total fall bliss.
Anyway, back to summer. Because it’s awesome. :)

I found your blog a week ago and I am totally in love with your capsule wardrobe. Amazing, simple, easy to mix, I would really like to do the same with my wardrobe. My question is…
1. What about garments which easily getting… well, dirty? :D I have to have a lot of t shirts as I am kind of clumsy person, sometimes I have to change my t shirts two times a day as they are getting dirty or sweaty. Is it possible to bring it together with minimalism? How to find solution?
2. What about getting or loosing weight? I have gained 7 kilos and a lot of basic pieces in my wardrobe are simply too small. Last year I have lost weight and had the same problem – everything used to be too big. I did not want to look sloppy so I had to buy some clothes in short period of time – it wasn’t easy to find good basics. It looks like you do not have problem with weight ;) but maybe you have some tips to share with beginners like me? :)
Ha! I’m wearing this outfit today. I’m at work thought so I’m wearing dark jeans, black sandals with heel, a silver cuff bracelet and pearl necklace. And yes, summer is awesome!
Ooh yes! Perfect outfit for fall. I’m searching around Italy for a leather bag just like that while I’m on vaca! I need a bag that fits everything but simply drapes over the shoulders. Xo em.
I love your concept and aesthetic- I have your blog pinned to my browser and check it every morning for inspiration. Enjoy Miami!
This is pretty much my year round base outfit. Change up some layering, shoes, and accessories and it really does work year round in Los Angeles. I’ll still be wearing my summer clothes for months to come!
Sold! I took the plunge and purchased this shirt online today. From your summer capsule, I’ve also purchased the Steve Madden ‘Nonstp’ s in natural. They are on sale right now. My husband, who rarely comments on a particular item that I am wearing– it’s more of a ‘you like nice’ comment– took serious note of these shoes and loves them. They do run a bit higher than the listed 3″ heel, but I think that I will manage. ;-) Thanks, Caroline!
I meant ‘you LOOK nice’ which is also always lovely to hear too.
I know it’s a bit off-topic here, but you mentioned once how shoes define the whole outfit and that you start always with the selection of the shoes, and as I’ve found this board of one the Pinterest managers I had to think about it:
Hope you like it as I did =)
This is one of my favorite outfits too! I have a few variations of it, and it is definitely a go-to.
Keep up the awesome blogging!
