Outfits: Winter, winter outfits

5.19 you’re invited to the texas style council

Remember that time I said we should all meet up and talk about Marie Kondo’s book?

Well, now we have a real opportunity to meet up — at the Texas Style Council! The deets:

What: A weekend for lady bloggers + social media enthusiasts + business owners to rekindle their creativity, chill out around a campfire, and encourage each other.

When: March 20 – 22, 2015

Where: Right outside of Austin, TX

I’m jumping up and down with excitement because we’re going camping. We’ll spend a glorious weekend in the Hill Country doing things like horseback riding, hiking, star-gazing, and s’more-eating.

You are literally not allowed to bring heels.

That’s my kind of blogger conference.

Indiana Adams, the founder of TxSC, puts it this way: “Last year was all glitz and glamour, but this year is all s’mores and slumber parties. Last year was all about the business of blogging, but this year is all about sharing secrets and growing as storytellers and encouraging each other in sisterhood. Last year was about dressing to impress, this year it’s about connecting, creating, getting back to basics, and making friends who can help find your truest, most badass self.”

Can I get a fist pump?

You can learn more here.

And you can register right here.

Leave all your fanciness at home, and let’s go camping!

Jacket: old from Zara (similar here)

Dress: Forever21 (super similar and awesome here)

Oooh, that sounds like fun! I love camping & s’mores & riding, but I’m many miles away from Texas :(.

I love the dress you’re wearing. That marled pattern has been so popular these last couple years–I see it everywhere from athletic wear to professional dress. I’m all about it!

I adore your dress and bag combo! I am totally obsessed with little black bags at the moment, I think they are the ultimate capsule accessory. Depending on how much you carry, yours is ideal for day or night :) x

Hi Caroline! This is my first comment … I’ve been lurking on your blog for a month or so. After much research and planning, today is the launch of my capsule wardrobe! I’m busting at the seams with excitement :) I have transitioned to a minimalist lifestyle, and my clothing was the last piece of the puzzle that needed sorting out. Thank you for all the great inspiration!

The conference sounds awesome and it got me wondering if I have something similar near me.

Also, this is such a great dress! You are inspiring me to possibly add a dress to my capsules. I’ve gone all pants now that I work from home but maybe it’s time to step it up a bit from time to time…

      Thanks for the inspiration! :-)
