6 casual + comfy looks from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale kicked off this week! It’s always fun to see all the new fall arrivals — especially since they are on super sale.

I was so happy to see a lot of my go-to brands included in the sale this year — like Birkenstock, Nike, Levi’s, New Balance, and Jenny Bird. Even my beloved Nike Tempo shorts are included — yay!

Since there are so many new fall items on sale, it can all be a bit overwhelming. It’s easy to get FOMO — which is not my favorite feeling.

So, to counter this, I like to set a soothing tone first.

Usually, I’ll make a little evening out of it. I’ll light a candle, turn down the lights in the house, maybe pour a glass of wine, turn on a relaxing playlist (this playlist is my favorite for a night in), and snuggle into the couch with my phone.

It’s nice.

And if I notice I’m feeling an unhelpful urgency to overbuy, I’ll pause the perusing and go do something else for a while. After all, it’s just a sale — not anything to get stressed about.

Finally, I’ll end the evening with a face mask or a mug of sleepy time tea.

No FOMO, no pressure. Just a nice, relaxing night in.
