My Top 12 from Madewell’s Black Friday Sale

11/14/23

Madwell’s Black Friday event has officially started! Use code LETSGO for 30% off your Madewell order, and take a look at my top 12 picks below:

1 | The Ezra Slipper in Faux Shearling | Aren’t these the coziest? I think I may get a pair for myself, my mom, and my sisters-in-law so we can all be matching over the holidays. Cuuuute!

2 | Graphic Oversized Tee | I don’t know why I’m so drawn to this tee, but I am. Maybe because it feels kind of like the  Anine Bing Lili tee without the price tag? I’ve been interested in adding a graphic tee to my steady rotation of white tees — just to shake things up a little.

3 | Pebbled Faux Sherling Shawl Collar Coat | Ah, I love sherpa for it’s texture-y goodness! This cozy coat looks so easy to throw on over anything (even leggings and a tee) and would look so cute in casual family photos.

4 | The Essential Bucket Tote | A forever tote. Love the subtle statement of warm brown instead of black.

5 | Slinky Ribbed Ankle Socks | Never not looking for a good colorful sock. I think they are so fun to pair with a Samba.

6 | The Sterling Silver Chunky Chain Bracelet | Can we have a moment for Madewell’s new sterling silver jewelry line? They aren’t promoting it loudly, so it feels like a secret club. Made of 100% sterling silver, these sculptural pieces are affordably priced and visually stunning. Check out the matching necklace, and then peep these earrings.

7 | Skinny Flare Jeans | Curvy Fit | I’ve been wanting to find a good pair of flare jeans — these are it! I like that the flare isn’t overly exaggerated. Style them with a cozy cableknit oversized sweater for a relaxed daytime look, or style them with a sleek off the shoulder top for dinner out.

8 | Cap Sleeve Crop Wide Leg Jumpsuit | Oh! Just think of all the ways you could style this for various holiday occasions! I’m thinking green satin heels and crystal earrings for a fancy event, or funky platform boots and a long coat for a casual gathering. LOVE the cap sleeve and ballet inspired neckline.

9 | Skinny Leather Western Belt | Another sleeper find! This is such a gorgeous belt that looks so much more expensive than it is. I appreciate the nod to western style without going full cowgirl. It’s just minimal enough.

10 | The Pouch Clutch | I am suddenly a sucker for all things tiger striped, and these rich colors get me. Carry it as a clutch on its own or slip it into the Essential Bucket Tote (#4).

11 | Sculptural Droplet Earrings | Okayy these are the best earrings I’ve seen all year! Of course, I love my Jenny Bird Tome earrings that I wear almost every day, but had I found these first, I would’ve gotten them instead. They are SO GOOD and such a steal at $32. These would also make such a great gift for a friend. They come in gold too!

12 | Responsible Cashmere Oversized Crewneck Sweater | I reach for my cashmere sweater over any other sweater simply because of how wonderful it feels against my skin. And cashmere for this price? Amazing. Also, look at all the colors! I like the idea of putting a sporty spin on this sweater. Maybe go up a size, wear it with a denim jacket and bike shorts or track pants.

I have that bucket tote in black and I love it. I don’t love how wide most leather tote bags are, but this is one is long instead of wide, so you can still fit a lot (I’ve easily fit my MacBook Air including with a laptop sleeve over it) without it being super wide and bulky. It’s a very thin leather so it also has a bit of slouch without completely losing shape. I can’t say enough nice things about it, if anyone out there is on the fence!
