This Madewell tank is one of my favorite summer tops right now. I love it so much, I had to get it in both black and white. It’s just that good.
The linen is lightweight. The breezy, open back lets air flow freely. It’s the kind of top that’ll keep you cool and comfortable on a scorching hot summer day.
The fit is just right — it’s a little cropped, but not too much. It comes with a tack stitch on the back that’s meant to be cut. With the stitch in place, it definitely feels too tight around the chest. It can give the impression that it runs small, or that you’re wearing the wrong size, but most likely, the stitch just needs to be cut. I found it runs true to size. To ensure it doesn’t shrink, skip the dryer and let it air dry.

Hi Mackenzie! I don’t wear a bra with the black top (one of the best things about it!), however, I do wear a strapless bra with the white one.
